The short version
- No accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or profiling.
- No paintings or touch data are sent to us.
- The app makes no internet connections of its own.
- A painting is saved only when you choose to save it.
Painting and touch input
Finger locations, contact radius, movement, and selected colors are processed entirely on the device to draw the painting. The canvas remains in memory while the app is running. Five Fingers Paint does not automatically upload, archive, or share it.
Saving to Photos
If you tap the save button, Five Fingers Paint asks iOS for add-only Photos access and writes the current painting to your photo library. The app cannot browse or read your existing photos. Apple Photos may sync the saved image through iCloud according to the device owner’s settings and Apple account.
Settings stored on the device
The app stores the five selected palette colors and whether the Save to Photos button is visible. These preferences remain on the device and are not sent to us.
Guided Access and system features
Guided Access, Photos permissions, and other device controls are provided by Apple and governed by the device owner’s settings. Five Fingers Paint does not receive data from Guided Access.
Children’s privacy
Five Fingers Paint is intended to be safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Support email
If a parent or guardian contacts support, we receive the email address and information they voluntarily include. We use it only to answer the request. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and disclose it only as required to operate email or comply with law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated policy and effective date will appear on this page.
